Prepare Mouthwatering Beef Pot Pie In Your Home

Beef ¾ kg

Red Potatoes 2

Carrots 3

Onion 3

Tomato 1

Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

Red chili powder 1 teaspoon

Beef Bouillon Granules 1 teaspoon

Seasoning 1 teaspoon

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

Buttermilk Baking Mix 1 cup

Milk ½ cup

Egg 1


Method

At first, you can prepare some ingredients in the suitable way for the cooking. For that, peel the red potatoes finely and chop them into medium sized pieces. Then, cut the carrots thinly and chop the onions properly. After that, cut the tomatoes and reserve all these ingredients. Now, you can chop the beef into fine pieces and wash them well with water.

Then, add it to a pressure cooker along with enough water. Add one teaspoon turmeric powder and same quantity red chili powder to it. You also need to add the 1/3 part of the sliced onions and chopped tomato to the cooker. Add a pinch of salt and cook it until the meat is well cooked. Once it is done, separate the gravy and keep the cooked meat in a bowl. Reserve the gravy as well.

Next, you need to boil the potatoes and carrots in skillet with enough water. Cook them on a medium heat until they get softer. After that, remove the water and transfer them to a large bowl. When they lose the warmth, add the remaining sliced onions, bouillon granules, and gravy to them. Mix them well and add the cooked beef to the bowl along with the seasoning. You have to make a fine mixture blending all ingredients well. Add a pinch of salt and mix once more.

After that, take another bowl add egg and milk to it. After beating well, add baking mix to the bowl and blend it again. Now, add a pinch of pepper to the beef mixture and blend it well. Then, you can take a dish pie plate (a nine inch deep sized plate is preferable) and add the beef mixture to it. Add the milk-egg mixture to the dish pie plate and cover it.



By that time, you can heat an oven at medium level heat. When it is hot enough, arrange the pie plate in it and bake the mixture. You need see when the crux gets a golden brown color. You may have to bake it for 30 to 40 minutes to get it done. After that, take it out and transfer the dish to a serving plate. Your beef pot pie is now ready to be served. You can serve it before it loses the warmth.
