Three Tasty Potato Preparations

Mashed Egg-Potato

Preparation:

To make this preparation you need a large potato,
an egg, few strings of coriander, one large onion, 6-7 cloves of garlic, green chili, salt and cooking oil.



Boil the egg and the potato till they become very soft. Finely chop the onion and crush the garlic.

Chop the coriander leaves and chili. Now heat oil in a pan. Fry crushed garlic and finely chopped onion. When they are well fried add chopped coriander, chili and salt. Remove them from heat.

Now remove the jacket of the potato and remove the eggshell. Mash potato and eggs in a separate container mix potato and egg into a fine paste. After that add that paste into the fried spices and mix them well. You may use it as a stuffing in bread role.

Potato with Cottage Cheese

Preparation:

To make this preparation you need potato and cottage cheese in equal quantity, tomato puree, onion paste, ginger paste, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom powder, red chili flakes, cooking oil and rosewater.



Cut potato in to cubes. Cut cottage cheese also in cubes of same size. Soak cottage cheese in warm and salty water for nearly 15-20 minutes. After that keep them on a strainer to drain the water. Heat oil in a pan.

Fry the spices and add potato. Add salt to taste. Stir and cook. Add tomato puree, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom powder, red chili flakes, and pinch of turmeric.

Stir everything well to mix all the spices. Add salt and mix. Keep the lid on to make potato tender. You may add little water if you need it. When the potatoes are tender remove the lid and add pieces of cottage cheese.

Again stir to mix cottage cheese with the remaining preparation. Cook them further 5-7 minutes and remove it from heat. Then sprinkle few 2 table spoon rose water for beautiful smell.



Lemony Potato

To make these snacks you need potato, lemon juice and salt. Now peel the potato and cut them in thick D type shape. Keep them in boiled water to make tender. After that remove them from water and keep on a strainer to strain the water.

Rub salt on potato. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry potato. Serve it hot with any type of drink. Before serving sprinkle few drops of lemon juice and salt to get the tangy taste.
